INSPIRATION

Pacific Odyssey - A fragrance that mirrors the end-to-end journey of the Pacific Ocean. The top notes of Mandarin, Basil, Marine Notes, and Nutmeg encapsulate the invigorating breeze of the open ocean. As the odyssey unfolds, the heart reveals the exotic allure of Ruh Kewda (Pandanus), Sage, Violet Leaf, and Water Jasmine, creating a symphony of scents that echo the diverse landscapes along the Pacific coastline.

At the base, the fragrance finds its anchor in the distinctive aroma of Choya Nakh (Sea Shells), a smoky marine essence that adds depth and character. Choya Nakh, made in India using roasted sea shells, intertwines with Vetiver, Ambergris, Cedarwood, and Patchouli to craft a fragrance that transcends the ordinary. Ruh Kewda, sourced from the tropical flowers of Odisha, India, introduces a sweet honey-like note, providing a lift that defies the stereotypical blue fragrance.

A proud member of our East Meets the West Collection, "Pacific Odyssey" is a testament to the harmonious fusion of traditional Indian craftsmanship and modern Western perfumery. The unique scent of Choya Nakh and Ruh Kewda, both distilled using the hydro-distillation method in copper vessels ("Deg"), reflects a rich heritage dating back millennia. The juxtaposition of these Indian raw materials with modern elements introduced by Western perfumers creates a fragrance that unfolds with multi-dimensional beauty, mirroring the diverse landscapes and cultures encountered on a Pacific odyssey.
